Hydralyte may be taken on the first signs of fluid loss due to vomiting and diarrhoea. It may also be taken to help manage dehydration caused by heavy sweating, vigorous exercise, excess alcohol consumption or due to a hot or dry environment.

Remove 2 tablets and dissolve in 200ml of fresh cold drinking water (2-3 minutes)
Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist.
Discard unused solution after 2 hours or 24 hours if refrigerated.
Avoid mixing with cordial, fruit juice, soft drink or sports drink as these can interfere with the rehydration process or worsen the dehydration.
Always dissolve in water, never place tablet directly into mouth.
Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists
